SUMMARY:10th Annual Holiday Hunger Run & Walk
DESCRIPTION:Tis' the season to help out in any way your can. \n\n\n\nWear your favorite Christmas costume!!  \n\n\n\nSanta\, elves...mistletoe. We will have a costume contest for the best adult male/female and child male/female.   \n\n\nWe are gearing up for the 10th anniversary (!) of our Holiday Hunger Run/Walk 5K that is scheduled for Saturday\, December 5 at the Bulverde Community Park.\n\n \n\nWe're hoping that you will consider supporting our mission to feed hungry neighbors by participating in our Holiday Hunger Run!   You can participate Virtually\, In Person or by Sleep Walking.   You can register at the link below.\n\n   CLICK HERE TO REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE   \n\n \nSPONSORSHIPS\nThe pandemic has deeply affected those most financially vulnerable in our community. The folks who were already our clients need us now more than ever\; and\, we have seen a marked increase in NEW clients coming to our food pantry--people who have never been to us (or to any food pantry) in their lives. COVID has caused a wave of need in this area that we have never experienced before.\n\n\n\nWe have been fortunate throughout this pandemic in that we have been able to continue to serve our clients without any interruption--we have not closed or suffered loss of service for a single day since this all started. We are essential because our clients rely on our assistance to feed their families.\n\n \n\nIf you come alongside of Provisions as a partner for this event\, your sponsorship funding becomes a DIRECT DONATION to our mission to fight hunger in our region. As an explanation of that\, we have an arrangement with our run management company that minimizes our out-of-pocket expenses for the overhead of the run. We pay VERY little for the event. That means that the funds that you provide to us as a sponsor is really a significant contribution to our mission! Your gift makes a difference for our client families. (The actual run management expenses are covered by runner/walker registration fees.)\n\n \n\nThere are several levels of sponsorship\, each with opportunities for acknowledgment and brand recognition\, as well as a certain number of complimentary registrations for runners/walkers from your company.
