DESCRIPTION:ALAMO LTC\, LLC will offer their first Advanced Bleeding Control + course located at the Bulverde-Spring Branch Activity Center. No experience is required - only a positive attitude and desire to learn life saving skills. The following skills will be covered: Types of bleeding\, how to identify life threatening bleeding\, visual and physical blood sweeps\, tourniquet application\, direct pressure\, elevation\, pressure points\, positioning a casualty\, emergency movement of a casualty\, wound packing and more.\n\n\n\n                              REMEMBER: YOU ARE YOUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER!\n\n\n\nCost: $100 per person. \n\nRegistration: $25 to reserve the classroom\n\nSign-up/Question?: 210-997-7677 or Ross@AlamoLTC.com\n\n\n\nNote: This will NOT be Death by Power Point class. Each skill will be demonstrated and then practiced. \n\nNo Fake Blood will be used that stains your clothes. Skills instruction will be provided with the same method as Army Combat Medics are taught. This is a low stress environment and most likely the best medical skills class you will ever see. \n\n\n\nBrief BIO:\n\n* The Owner / Chief Instructor has trained over 500 Army Combat Medics.\n\n* Deployed to combat in Iraq and Afghanistan for 32 months combined.\n\n* NREMT for over 20 years.\n\n* Retired US Army Combat Medic with 20 years of active duty service.
