SUMMARY:Online - Calligraphy Styles
DESCRIPTION:We will practice brush lettering or calligraphy using brush pens\, ink and nib pens\, watercolor using water pens and paint brushes. We will be reviewing the emphasizing strokes\, flourishes and other hand lettering techniques. Please use any supplies you want that you have from home. \n\nThis month we will be focus on using a dip pen\n\nReccomended Materials:\n\n\n	Smooth paper\n	Small brush pen\n	Crayola (if you do no own flexible pens)\n	Graph pencil or regular pencil\n	Eraser\n	Ruler\n	Mono line pens or regular pen (non flexible)\n\n\nOptional :\n\n\n	Large brush pen\n	Tracing paper\n	Guideline paper ( graph/lined/dot )\n\n\n \n\nIf you are new to brush calligraphy\, there is a basic Beginning Brush Lettering course offered the 2nd Wednesday evening of every month\, from 6-7:45pm. In this class\, Rachel will go into depth the nine basic strokes needed to succeed at your calligraphy. So if your schedule permits\, I encourage you to take advantage of Rachel's patient teaching style. Otherwise come to this class and know that we will give out a beginning packet for you to take and practice at home\, but we will not spend a lot of time going over the basic strokes. We will quickly jump into a project of the month.\n\nOpen to all Adults and Teens 13+. Registration required.
