SUMMARY:STUFF THE BUS school supply drive
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 1st\, the SBB Lions Club will partner up with Provisions Outreach and hold a STUFF THE BUS event in the food pantry parking lot. Lions will be there to accept donations of backpacks and school supplies from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Refreshments and fun will be provided\, and the community is encouraged to come support the Lions and our local school kids. All backpacks and school supplies collected will be divided equally and delivered to local schools for distribution to the kiddos who need them.\n\n\n\nThis event is taking the place of the Day of Services & Back to School Outreach\, which was cancelled due to coronavirus limitations.\n\n\n\nAs usual\, the Lions would like to collect at least enough supplies for about 300 kiddos! The Lions are asking local organizations churches\, businesses\, neighborhood associations\, etc. to hold individual school supply drives throughout all of July and then bring their collections to the STUFF THE BUS event on August 1st.
