DESCRIPTION:For Immediate Release\n\nContact: Dede Wolf\n\n(830) 438-3211\n\n \n\n \nHonor Those Who Have Served\n\n \nVeterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to all who have served in the armed forces.  On November 11th\, the entire nation unites in respect for our veterans.  Please join us at Bracken Christian School (BCS)\, as our student body honors all veterans. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to join us on campus this Thursday\, November 11th at 9:00 AM at 670 Old Boerne Road\, Bulverde\, TX 78163.  The Veterans Day Program will be held in the school gym\, with light refreshments being served before the program begins. Our Elementary Choir will be performing\, and a special gift made by our students\, will be provided to all veterans in attendance. This event is being facilitated by the BCS Student Council Officers\, under the guidance of Dede Wolf\, Fine Arts Director\, and Emily Kacyvenski\, Student Council Sponsor at BCS. \n\n\n\nSpecial recognition for fallen BCS graduate\, and marine\, Lance Corporal Luke Holler will be made with the playing of TAPS and a moment of silence. Luke was a graduate of Bracken Christian School in 2003 and joined the Marines after his graduation.  While serving in Iraq in 2006\, Luke gave his life in service of our country. We honor his sacrifice and that of countless other veterans who have heroically served our country.
