The Chamber’s Natural Resources Committee will host a Water Strategies Forum on Friday, October 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the New Braunfels Civic Center.
The program will feature a series of 45-minute breakout sessions, a luncheon keynote address by Professor Charles Porter, and a wrap-up session by New Braunfels Utilities. You can register at www.WaterStrategies.eventbrite.com.
Morning sessions will be provided by GBRA, the San Antonio Water System, the Texas Water Development Board, the Edwards Aquifer Authority, the Canyon Lake Water Service Company, the National Weather Service and the newly created Trinity Groundwater Conservation District.
Charles Porter, a global water policy professor at St. Edwards University, author and expert on water rights, will deliver the keynote address.
NBU will deliver the afternoon session, focusing on their work to provide quality water.
