Cross Country state champions, qualifiers honored
The Smithson Valley High School girls cross country team made school history when it won the UIL 5A State title on November 2 in Round Rock and was recognized by the Comal ISD Board of Trustees for its success. The state championship cross country team from Smithson Valley High School was recognized during the Comal ISD Board of Trustees meeting December 19. Winners named in 2024 Comal ISD Christmas Card Contest
Three student artists received surprise visits from Superintendent Dr. John E. Chapman III this week as the winners of Comal ISD’s 2nd Annual Christmas Card Contest. Comal ISD recognizes 34 Texas Boys State, Girls State participants
The Comal ISD Board of Trustees recognized 34 students who participated in this summer’s Texas Boys State and Texas Girls State leadership programs during its board meeting Thursday, Sept. 19.Annually, the American Legion and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary host rising high school seniors to participate in a six-day crash course on government by creating their own.
